Insurance education

If your patients have questions about whether their insurance covers QINLOCK® (ripretinib), tell them to call us. We'll point the way.

For questions about Medicare coverage or the Low-Income Subsidy program (also known as "Extra Help"), refer to our Medicare Overview Brochure.

Prior authorization (PA) and appeals support

Call us to help navigate the process quickly and accurately.

Plus, use our sample Letter of Medical Necessity and Letter of Appeal templates to help speed up the process. These sample letters can be customized based on your patient's condition and plan requirements.

Therefore, patients and healthcare professionals should confirm information directly with payers. Deciphera does not guarantee coverage or payer reimbursement.

If patients need help affording their medication, Deciphera AccessPoint is here to help. We have financial support options for patients with different types of insurance, or no insurance at all:

For eligible patients with commercial insurance, our copay program may cover ALL out-of-pocket drug costs (as little as $0 copay).

Patients with no insurance or without coverage may qualify for free medication. Some patients with Medicare Part D may also qualify for this program.

Case Managers are available to help patients understand their benefits and other resources that may be available to them.

One form unlocks a host of potential access solutions

Deciphera AccessPoint offers support to patients and practices in navigating insurance issues and financial support opportunities.

Enroll your patients to get them started right away. Simply fill out and submit the enrollment form and we do the rest.

Our Enrollment Form Instruction Guide explains how to obtain, fill out, and submit the form to help patients access services quickly.

Fax a completed enrollment form to 1‑833‑DCPH‑FAX (1‑833‑327‑4329).

Be sure to include:

  • Prescription
  • Prescriber signatures
  • Patient signatures
  • Optional/recommended: A request for a temporary 10-day supply of free medication, in case the patient faces an insurance delay or interruption

Deciphera AccessPoint assesses coverage and helps identify financial assistance options.

Specialty pharmacy delivers the prescription directly to the patient, or eligible offices may dispense via an in-office pharmacy.

Ordering information

QINLOCK® (ripretinib) can be shipped directly to patients or is available for in‑office dispensing.

We offer 2 options for prescribing QINLOCK® (ripretinib):

Option 1

Enroll your patient in Deciphera AccessPoint

When you fill out the enrollment form, you may choose fulfillment from any of our specialty pharmacy partners, and product will be shipped directly to the patient.

Option 2

Prescribe directly through a specialty pharmacy or dispense in office

qinlock is avaliable through select specialty pharmacies and specialty distributors.

May not be available for all practices or organizations.
